Operational Customs officers established the facts of illegal sale of products amounting to 66.5 thousand Belarusian rubles
During special events, Operational Customs officers established three facts of illegal sale of clothes, shoes, haberdashery and bedclothes with a total value of 66.5 thousand Belarusian rubles.
During an inspection of one of the retail facilities in the city of Novogrudok, it was established that over 3.5 thousand units of clothing, haberdashery, textile and household goods in the range were sold illegally: without documents confirming the origin of this products. The total cost of illegally sold products amounted to about 39 thousand Belarusian rubles.
Customs officers found a similar violation in Minsk, where an individual entrepreneur intended to sell about 1.4 thousand units of outerwear, hats and bedding.
Also the director of Minsk store submitted invalid documents for the goods being sold. He tried to illegally sell more than 8 thousand units of clothing, footwear, and haberdashery in the range. The total value of the goods was about 16 thousand Belarusian rubles.
Regarding the facts, Operational Customs initiated administrative processes in accordance with part 4 of Art. 12.17 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The article provides for a fine of up to 50% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense without confiscation.
